These paintings are the perfect way to immortalize your precious animals, be it to celebrate or to remember a beloved pet. Pet portraits are a great gift for any holiday or to show sympathy for the unfortunate loss of a pet. You also have the option to purchase a high-resolution digital file for an additional fee—use it on thank you cards, personal stationary, or make prints yourself! Please refer to my guidelines below to submit the best photos possible—the better the picture, the better the painting!

Please fill out and submit this form. I will email you within 2-3 days to collect reference photos and talk details. Once your photos have been approved, return to my shop and purchase the “Custom Order Deposit.” When your deposit is received you will officially be added to my waitlist, which I will also be in touch about. • Get fairly close to show the details in the fur and reflection in the eyes. Do not zoom in, get physically closer. 

• Get down on their level--hold the camera at the same level as the pet's face rather than you looking down at them.

• Take your photo in natural daylight (outdoors or in a room with a lot of windows), but not in direct sunlight. Do not use flash!

• So much of your pet’s personality is seen in the eyes—have the animal look at the camera. Get the treats out, begging eyes make for

  great puppy dog eyes!

• Make sure the subject is in focus with no motion blur, and do not use Portrait Mode.

• Please submit 3-10 high-quality photos, preferably using a digital camera or iPhone 8 or later.
